He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, (1) saith the Lord. HE THAT FOLLOWETH ME, shall not walk in darkness" (John 8:12), saith the Lord. He that followeth me, walketh not in darkness, saith Our Lord. "He that followeth Me, walketh not in darkness,"1 saith the Lord. "Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness," says the Lord. "Whoever shadows my every move won't lose me in the dark" At least that's what Christ says, or what the Evangelist John heard Him say (8:12). If you want to fully and feelingly understand the words of Christ, you must endeavor to conform your life wholly to the life of Christ. He who follows Me, says Christ our Saviour, walks not in darkness, for he will have the light of life. "Anyone who follows me shall not walk in darkness," says the Lord. 'HE who follows Me shall not walk in darkness,' says Our Lord.
