Tags are added by signed-in readers on any book page. They sit alongside the source libraries’ subject headings and our 33 traditions — a third, informal layer for the things catalogers never name: “beginner-friendly”, “primary source”, “skeptical”, “read for the woodcuts”.

Tags are public and attributed to the reader who added them. Keep them descriptive; abuse can be reported from the book page.
