Manuscript contains several unattributed works, with a table of contents on first leaf Place of production undetermined: reference sources speculate Northeastern France, Flanders, or England Date estimated from handwriting Rubricated manuscript in brown ink on sheets of vellum, with several tables and diagrams throughout. Leaves written on both sides, in a single column, with writing surface 110x80mm. Leaves are numbered in modern hand in pencil in the top left corner. Manuscript contains several texts in several hands and different scripts. The first part containing the commentary is in a smaller, cursive hand (13th century). The latter portion in a later, larger gothic hand (14th century). With table of contents on ff. 1v Leaves 2r-20v are written in a 13th century small and neat cursive with 32 lines to a page. Contains the Spera materialis sive tractatus circa speram materialem, which is an anonymous commentary on Sacrobosco's Tractatus de sphera, but believed to contain large portions of Michael Scot's famous commentary on this work (cf. Thorndike, p.62) Leaves 21r-31r are Has 29 lines to a page, in a later gothic hand (14th century). Contains what reference sources refer to as the "Tractatus de quadrante."
