Manuscript miscellany of Cabalistic works copied from the printed text in Mücü, Azerbaijan, by Gershom ben Daṿid of Quba, writing in mime-form manuscript ("be-partsuf ha-meḥoḳeḳ") under 'Sultan Murtaza Ali', likely a ruler in pre-Russo-Persian War of 1826. The manuscript is of David di Medinah's Nefesh Daṿid, copied from the printed edition of Istanbul (Constantinople) 1736 (the opening page copied from the printed title page, including the decorative verses on the border), followed by Zevi Hirsch Chotsch, Shabata de-rigla (Fürth 1693), Issachar Ber of Kremenets', Yesh śakhar (Prague, 1609; copied from an imperfect copy), and selections from the cabalistic Siddur Tiḳune Shabat, with Jacob Pozna's Minḥat Yaʻaḳov (Prague, [1651?]). Written in an Iranian-Oriental semicursive script; item folios mostly blind-ruled; fascicle with lighter paper (f. 51-57); bound in contemporary boards, with a pattern of leaves and fig branches; leather tips and spine.
